The Dawa project has excisted since 1996, developing a unique blend of acoustic and electronic sound. Sonic inspiration comes from both the afro- and asian world scene as from the power of the electronic music scene. Dawa has been working with great musicians such as percussionist Steen Raahauge and guitarist and sitar-player Henrik Andersen. Dawa has also been working with famous world music artists such as: Kora player Basiro Suso (Gambia) and Tibetan chant-master Ani Choying Drolma. World famous Danish percussionist Marilyn Mazur appears on the new CD "Body Electric", blessing two tracks with her amazing univers of acoustic sounds.
